Cybersecurity Research Institute (abbre. CSRI) of Sichuan University was established in March, 2015. CSRI is a cross-discipline research platform, which is based on national cyber development strategy and aims at providing support for the building of cybersecurity as first-level discipline and the personnel training. CSRI aims to establish an internationally advanced and domestic leading cyberspace security research team, to become a national-level scientific research team and base for cyberspace security, to form a leading level of scientific research, and to cultivate outstanding talents for our nation.
CSRI tries to integrate the advantage of the preponderant disciplines in Sichuan University, conducts cross-discipline scientific research and personnel training. Now, we have two research organizations, namely Network and Trusted Computing Institute (Dean: Professor Xingshu Chen) and Cybersecurity Governance Institute (Dean: Professor Huaming Chen). Up to now, CSRI has built 6 cross-discipline and cross-school research teams, including nearly 30 professors and associate professors who come from college of cybersecurity, college of computer science, the college of mathematics, college of literature and journalism, school of international studies, school of law, school of public administration, and center of frontier, etc.
As one of the originators, CSRI sets up the Research Alliance for Data Governance and Cyber Security and carries out international exchanges and cooperation with experts coming from different countries. We are currently carrying our research and personnel training in the fields of Cloud Computing Security, Big Data Security, Trusted Computing, Data Governance, and Open-source Intelligence Analysis, etc.
